I was on the fence about getting turf installed due primarily to the cost, but now that it's done, I can say it was 100 percent worth it and I have 0 regrets. We had Bo and his team install turf in our side yard which is intended primarily for the dogs to use and play in, and then also added a putting green in a previously ugly, unused space near our pool. I am so happy with the results! Everything looks great, and no more muddy paws! Bo was on site several times during the install process providing guidance to his team, checking the work, etc. to make sure everything was as we had discussed. Overall I'm very pleased and highly recommend North Texas Luxury Lawns. We got several quotes and this was not the highest or lowest, but seemed like a good, fair price and I felt like I would get the service I was looking for, and I did! And of course the dogs love the turf, and actually want to spend time in their yard now!

How long does it take to install an artificial turf backyard?
Our process usually takes 2 days, max. But if you have a massive area, it could take longer – especially of the weather does not cooperate.
Can weeds grow through artificial turf?
Weeds are unlikely to grow through the artificial turf when it is properly installed.
Our installation process includes a weed barrier that prevents weed growth from underneath the turf.
However, it is possible for weeds to grow around the edges or in the infill if the installation is not done correctly or if the surrounding area has a high weed presence.
What can I do if grass is growing through my artificial turf?
While you may feel the urge to pull the grass out by hand, it is best to buy a grass & weed killer from your local hardware store, and allow the grass stems to be exposed before you spray the turf. This will not damage your turf. However, the way these grass & weed sprays work is that the grass must be exposed in order to absorb the chemicals in the spray. The grass poking through will eventually wilt and disintegrate, then you can pull it.
Does artificial turf get hot to the touch?
Yes, turf gets hot to the touch. In fact, artificial turf can exceed natural grass temperature by 20-50 degrees Farenheit.
